I wanted to quickly drop by to say a few things.
First of all, I’ve noticed that my scheduled posts aren’t getting posted on schedule. Apparently this is a common WordPress issue so that sucks. I believe together with that problem, there’s also a notification fault. Whenever a scheduled post fails to post in time, I’ve got no visitors at all. This has happened often enough now that I feel safe to assume it is tied together somehow.
Because of that, I want to point out that a new chapter of Nadec has been posted yesterday—Nadec CH 7: zlurp. It follows Nadec suffering from the consequences of having a concussion, and trying to deal with her captor and his dragon.
While I’m doing this unexpected post, completely out of the regular publishing-times (which is sun-tue-thu 6pm Sydney), I want to take the opportunity to talk about NaNoWriMo. I’ve talked in previous posts about what that is so won’t elaborate further on that now. It has started last Thursday, and has already been the reason why my regular mid-week posts haven’t happened. I started of NaNoWriMo on Thursday with a day off my day job. That had been a brilliant idea because I managed to put myself 2 days ahead of schedule. At this moment I’m still about 2 days ahead, or maybe even more. So that’s awesome. If I can keep this writing streak going, I may have a 90 000 word first draft by the end of this months. So all good there 😃 I’ll probably put a post up sometime next week to talk more about this project, and maybe post a little tease-excerpt. I’m so excited for this whole thing!
